Road restrictions demand creative scaffolding...
Living directly on a small country lane has it's benefits, but isn't very helpful when it's the only way in or out of your part of the village!
In an attempt to keep the road open while still allowing adequate access to the thatch we had to utilise a neighbour's garden to build a large enough platform to stabilise the whole thing. Hopefully it won't take too long and we can once again see something other than metal poles out of our windows!
