Covid catch-up

Well, it's been a funny old time. The terrible storms we had at the beginning of the year closely followed by the virus epidemic have both had their effects on thatching. The storms in February and March were epic - I've never seen anything like them (apart from that hurricane we had in Orlando one year!) and they probably set us back about 5 weeks all told.

Then the epidemic hit, and although we managed to carry on working to some degree it was a time of uncertainty. We now seem to be catching up with things, so will be making every effort to bring the work back on schedule during 2020. I hope everyone is managing to stay safe and healthy during lockdown, and hopefully we'll see you on a roof sometime!

Final dressing, Croyde Bay, May 2020
